Writing a book can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to do it alone. The Guided Author Experience™ provides expert coaching, proven frameworks, accountability, and personalized support to help you organize your ideas, overcome obstacles, and complete a book you can be proud of. Whether you're sharing your expertise, telling your story, or building your legacy, we'll guide you through every step of the journey.
Story Exploration™
We start by exploring, through a series of interviews, an overview of your life at 30,000 feet. In the process, we create your book outline.
We then start to zoom in on the stories that have emerged in greater detail.
From there, we look more closely at the insights coming from these experiences. We learn how they have informed critical decisions and your actions over time.
We then turn this information into actionable insights, providing value to you and your reader.
Guided Author
Upon completion of Story Exploration™, we hand you the content we have created from our conversations, along with the book summary, outline, and sample chapter.
Next, we pair you with a writing coach who works with you through to the completion of your manuscript.
The Product Journey
Editing
By the end of this phase, we will have the finished manuscript text.
We go through the three stages of editing; developmental editing, line editing, and proofreading the first version of the manuscript.
Design
This phase takes your manuscript and turns it into beautifully designed, print-ready files.
We work on text formatting, typography, imagery layout, and jacket design and provide a finished file ready for the second proofreading.
Printing
Working with one of our print specialists, you will select your paper and print materials.
Your print-ready files are sent to the press to turn into hard copies.
You and the team receive sample copies for a third proofread.
With everything approved, we are ready for distribution, and a box of books will be arriving at your door.
Distribution
We take care of setting up your title with over 32,000 online stores, book shops, libraries, and schools.
Our marketing team works with our distributors to facilitate the ideal strategy for where and how your book is sold.
Your book is now on sale for the world to buy.
